Funding Scotland
This new funding website records information about grants and funding programmes accessible to organisations operating in Scotland. Funding programmes include those managed by Lottery Distributors, Corporate and Charitable Trusts, Statutory Organisations, European Commission, and others. FundingScotland.com also gives Funders an opportunity to manage information about their programmes.

Big Lottery Fund Scotland 2014 Communities Grants Programme
2014 Communities is a new micro grants programme, offering local sports clubs, voluntary and community organisations, community councils and schools grants of £300 to £2,000 to support and stimulate grass roots involvement in sport and physical activity. It will continue to operate up to the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014. It is looking to fund projects that will achieve one or more of the following outcomes:
- More people take part in sport or physical activity
- More people volunteer in sport or physical activity
- More people and communities are brought together
through taking part or volunteering in sport or physical activity

Kelloggs 'Active Living Fund'
The fund gives small grants to fund projects and activities that directly lead to people taking part in sustained physical activity. The aim of the fund is to help remove the “barriers” which stop people being active. Kellogg’s will make a grant of up to £1000 but only for activities or projects where the grant makes a significant impact to the overall cost. |

Community Chest is a Sports Council for Wales Initiative for community sport and physical recreation. It offers grants of up to £1,000 in any 12 month period for activities that:
- Encourage more people to be more active, more often
- Raise the standards of existing activities
The scheme is open to any group as long as they hold a bank account in the organisation's name.

Sportsmatch Cymru |

Sportsmatch Cymru is the Welsh Assembly Government's Business sponsorship incentive scheme for sport and physical recreation in Wales.
It is designed to encourage more business backing for sport and physical recreation by matching commercial sponsorship £ for £, thereby doubling the impact of sports sponsorship for both business and sport
Who is eligible?
Any properly constituted sports club/association or local authority, which is being sponsored by a commercial organisation.
What is eligible?
Sponsorship agreements that either involve new or additional business investment.
The minimum application is £300. This can be made up of 3 sponsors - £100 per sponsor (£100 minimum contribution per sponsor). The maximum application is £50,000.

Development Grant |

The Sports Council for Wales' Development Grant is available to fund projects that develop sport and physical activity in the community.
Development Grants are available between £1,001 and £25,000
The scheme is open to any group as long as they have a written constitution and hold a bank account in the organisation's name.
If your project needs less than £1,000 a Community Chest grant (see above) will probably be more suitable.
